My great friend Callie who I met in 7th grade has been an amazing support through this adventure that I am facing. Recently she has signed her self up to be apart of an relay in the Relay For Life in her town on behalf of myself, and every time I have Chemo she is going to wear a pink shirt with a pink bow in support of me and breast cancer. This is such an overwhelming act of love and kindness, and I am so grateful for it! Here is the link to Callie's blog about her wearing pink and participating in the relay:

Jen, We are so blessed to serve such an Awesome God. A God who loves, a God who saves, A God who heals. Psalm 18:2 says “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge: My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” I love what Psalm 31:1-3 says, “In You, O lord, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed; In Your righteousness deliver me. Incline Your ear to me, rescue me quickly; Be to me a rock of strength, A stronghold to save me. For You are my rock and my fortress; For Your name's sake you will lead me and guide me.” A rock of strength ... a fortress, just to read those words, I feel loved by Him. God’s word is true ... He is a rock. He is unmovable, strong and a shelter in the middle of life’s changes and challenges. Jen, take comfort for you are a child of God and he holds you in the palm of His hand! God has carried me through some very dark days in my life and I know He’ll do the same for you! I am so thankful for your friendship despite the miles between us. I love you, my friend!! ~Callie
